Studio.
A one-person studio building open infrastructure for screenwriting, filmmaking, and the tools underneath.
Built and shipped by Raghav Ahuja — design engineer, Brooklyn, originally from Jamnapaar (East Delhi, the other side of the Yamuna). Thirteen years shipping product end-to-end.
Jamanapaar — Hindi for “Jamuna paar,” the other side of the Yamuna. East Delhi, where I grew up. The side of the river outsiders looked down on.
Brooklyn, where I live now. Across a different river. Both sides, both the side that had to build its own tools.
The studio is named for the posture.
Single brand. Many verticals. The brand is a worldview, not a SKU — which means goods, specs, SDKs, apps, and free tools can live under one studio without it reading scattered.
Every tool follows the same posture: production-grade, self-serve, honest pricing, AI-amplifies-never-authors. The catalog will grow. The thesis will not.
Solo. Built with Claude Code, Cursor, and v0 in agentic-dev workflows — which is the reason a one-person studio can ship this catalog at all. The tooling stack is the moat.
Story Kit shipped first. Arqo shipped on four platforms next. The FDX Converter is free public infrastructure. The .jmpr spec is open under CC-BY. More tools are on deck across goods, SDK, apps, and free.
- 01Craft over feature-count.
- 02Self-serve over sales motion.
- 03Global from day one — PPP pricing, multiple languages.
- 04AI amplifies. AI never authors.
- 05Open formats and free tools grow the category.
- 06Plumbing belongs in the commons.
- 07The work is the marketing.
