Colophon.
How JMNPR · Labs is built, priced, licensed, and reached. The fine print, in plain language, on one page.
The studio
A studio of one.
A studio of one. No co-founders. No employees. No agency relationships. No retainers. No fundraising. No pitch deck.
If that changes, this page changes first.
Pricing
How pricing works.
- Goods
- One-time purchase. Three tiers when there are tiers. Lifetime updates.
- Free tools
- Free forever. No tier. No upsell.
- Apps
- Flat tiers where possible. No per-seat gotchas on small teams.
- SDK
- Free under MIT for open-source and personal use. One-time per major version for commercial use.
- PPP indexing
- Where checkout supports it. The creator in Jakarta and the creator in Jamnapaar are not an afterthought.
- No retainers
- No subscription as lock-in. No “contact us for pricing.” No sales calls.
Licensing
How licensing works.
- Goods
- Personal license, perpetual. Use on as many of your own projects as you like. Don’t redistribute the files themselves.
- Free tools
- Free as in beer and free as in speech. Source on GitHub where it makes sense.
- SDK · MIT
- Open-source projects, hobby projects, personal projects, educational use.
- SDK · Commercial
- Closed-source products, internal company tools, anything sold or distributed commercially. One-time per major version.
- .jmpr spec
- CC-BY. Use it. Build on it. Attribution appreciated, not enforced.
- Reader (Rust)
- Apache-2.0.
Updates
How updates work.
- Goods
- Lifetime updates. You buy v1, you get v1.x and v2 and v3 forever. No re-purchase.
- Apps
- Continuous updates within the major version you bought. Major version bumps are optional; old versions keep working.
- SDK
- Real semver. Real changelogs. Real deprecation cycles — at least two minor versions before any breaking change in a major.
Refunds
How refunds work.
- Goods
- Seven days, no questions, no friction. Email and it’s done.
- Apps
- Seven days from first purchase. No partial-month math.
- SDK · Commercial
- Pro-rated refund within thirty days if the SDK doesn’t fit the use case.
AI policy
How AI is used.
The studio uses Claude Code, Cursor, and v0 to ship. The work is the studio’s. The decisions are the studio’s. The AI is the typist, not the author.
No tool the studio ships generates human creative work end-to-end. Craft AI runs craft modules — beat checks, voice passes, pitch-kit drills — and explicitly does not draft scenes, dialogue, or scripts.
If that ever changes, this page changes first.
